Green Words




Green
A philosophy of creating eco-friendly products, using sustanable technologies that will not deplete our planet of its remaining resources.

Eco-friendly

Having minimal to no harmful or threatening impact on the environment.

Renewable Energy
Energy that is generated from regenerative resources; or energythat canot be exhausted, such as wind, water and sunlight.

Recycled
Manufactured from used or waste materials that have been reprocesed for further use.

Sustainable Material
Materials that are generated from resources that are managed in a way that they are, for al practical purposes, sustainable over an extended period of time (i.e. the resource is not depleted.)

Carbon Footprint
A measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide".[1] It is meant to be useful for individuals, nations and organizations to conceptualize their personal (or organizational) impact in contributing to global warming.

Recycle symbol
The chasing arrow symbol used to show that a product or package can be recycled. The three arrows on the symbol represent different components of the recycling process. The top arrow represents the collection of recyclable materials. The second arrow (bottom right) represents the recyclables being processed into recycled products and the third arrow on the bottom left represents when the consumer actually buys a product with recycled content.
